Petani Beach is a sandy bay with pebbles around the shore line. It's located on the west cost of Kefalonia, just north of Lixouri. The main part of the beach is over 500m long, there's a couple of tavernas around the path that leads down to the beach and in front of the tavernas is where you'll find the sun loungers that are available to hire.

The Petani Beach is located in the north of the Paliki peninsula. A magnificent panorama opens in front of you during a steep descent along a mountain road to the coast: clear water changes colour from dark blue to pale blue and green, a horseshoe-shaped beach shines white in the sun, and a powerful rocky ledge bursts into the sea as if a bow of a giant ship.

Petani is also on the Paliki Peninsula, on Kefalonia's west coast.Of all the beaches on the island, it's the most similar to Myrtos (along with Platia Ammos and Gialiskari which are both difficult to access at the moment)..
