Crystal clear water and wide, white deserted sand beaches. To be honest, I didn't think this would happen when we first approached Koh Poda and around 20 long tail boats and speed boats lined the shores of the tiny island. Hordes of tourists were swimming in the shallow water around the boats, taking selfies, the beach filled with beach.

The island is only accessible by boat. The easiest way to visit Poda Island is on a day trip from Krabi. Island-hopping tours, which typically use either time-saving speedboat or traditional longboat, usually also visit the caves of Phra Nang Beach, Railay Beach, Tup Island (Koh Tup), and Chicken Island, so-called because of its rocky resemblance to the bird.

In the middle of the sea here is a small limestone-based island which is a unique feature of Koh Poda.
